Prologue

The meeting of Jill Moon on the first evening of Spring in 2014 was not unfortunate because of said meeting, but unfortunate because this was the first time in my 26 years on this planet that I had. And now, though the vibrant colours of Spring had begun to flourish, life had become so much more grey when she was gone. Unfortunate because I thought I had life figured out before I met her.

Her beauty was subtle. Not the sort that jumps out at you straight away. But the sort that sneaks up on you overtime and eventually, when you do notice it, knocks you on your butt. The kind of beauty that once noticed, cannot be unnoticed. The kind of beauty that stays with you throughout the night and that you just never want to be without.

We met at a garden party of one of my friends, he was one of those people who always tried too hard to make people like him and therefore he was never very popular. I worked out very early on in life that the less you care about who likes you and who doesn't, the more people like you. And its better to just get on liking people. Needless to say, this was a small party. Which is why this story is so interesting. Who was this girl that I had just locked eyes with? How had I not met her before? How had I not even seen her profile before on Facebook?

Well, before I answer any of these questions, we need to see how I got it here......
